About Us

My Energy Canada is proud to return to its Canadian roots, where our journey in renewable energy first began over a decade ago. Founded by a passionate team of Canadian entrepreneurs, innovators, and engineers, our story started in Canada’s solar industry at a time when solar energy was still emerging and government programs like Ontario’s FIT and MicroFIT were just beginning to shape the future of clean energy. 

In 2014, we expanded our vision internationally, launching our first Central American solar company. Our initial goal was to provide a dedicated solar energy division for sustainable real estate development projects. After a challenge by President Luis Guillermo Solís of Costa Rica, our mission took on a life of its own—driving us to deploy a system of multi-dimensional sustainability across Central America. 

Today, My Energy operates in North America, Central America, and the Islands of the Caribbean, with teams in Canada, China, Costa Rica, the Bahamas, and the United States. We are a diverse group of Canadian, Chinese, Bahamian, and American entrepreneurs, innovators, engineers, electricians, sustainability advocates, and parents. United by a shared vision, we believe all our children deserve a world free of pollution and disease. We are passionately committed to creating bold, environmentally friendly solutions to the world’s greatest challenges. 

The launch of My Energy Canada is a homecoming—a return to the values and vision that started our journey to bring innovative energy solutions to everyone. As we continue to grow globally, we remain dedicated to our founding mission: shifting the world away from fossil fuels and toward a future where clean, renewable energy is accessible to all.
